This photograph appeared on the front page of the newspaper twenty years ago today.
Do you recognise anyone in the photo? Well, for a start I am in the photo, the chap with the dark hair, dark beard and white shirt on the right. But the photo wasn’t there because of me. It was rather because of the lady in the broad-brimmed hat and pleated dress who is standing centre-left. That lady,
Diana, Princess of Wales, was tragically killed in a road accident in Paris on 31st August 1997 and the following day the newspaper - the Cameroon Tribune - printed this photo. It was a photo which they had already printed over seven years earlier, in March 1990.

Since the photo is in black and white, the question arises what colour the Princess's dress was. As far as I can remember it was primrose yellow.
And while the Prince of Wales was cheerfully talking to the crowd, what was the Princess staring at?
